Privacy Policy

Last updated 4 October 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This page explains what we collect when you use Mero Page, what we do with it, and what you can do about it.

1. Who we are

Mero Page (“we”, “us”) runs this website and the web app behind it (the “Service”): a place to make a profile page, a website, a résumé, a presentation, QR codes, an online store or a news site, plus free tools. This policy says what personal information the Service collects, why, who sees it, and the choices you have.

To ask us anything about it, use the contact form.

2. What we collect

Your account. Your name, a username, your email address and a password (we keep only a scrambled form of it, never the password itself). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and Google’s identifier for you. When you register, we email you a one-time code to confirm the address.

What you make. Everything you put into the Service so that it works: your profile and links, pages and sites, résumés, presentations, notes, captures sent from the mobile app, QR codes, shop products and orders, news articles, and the files and pictures you upload. Anything you choose to publish is public to anyone with its address.

Connected accounts. If you connect a Facebook Page, we receive what is described in Facebook and Meta below.

Messages to us. What you type into our contact form is emailed to our team so we can reply. It is not kept in the Service’s database.

Technical and usage data. Like any website, our servers see your IP address and browser details when you make a request, and we keep short-lived logs to run and secure the Service. We count visits to public profile pages. On this website we also use Google Analytics to understand which pages are used.

Your customers’ data, if you run a store. When someone orders from your store, their name, contact details and order are recorded for you. You decide what to do with it; we only store it for you and show it to you.

3. How we use it

We use personal information to:

  • create and secure your account and sign you in;
  • store, show and publish what you make, exactly as you set it up;
  • run the features you ask for, including the AI features described below and posting to a connected Facebook Page;
  • send you the emails the Service needs to work, such as a verification code;
  • keep the Service safe, prevent abuse and fix faults; and
  • understand how the Service is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show third-party advertising in the Service.

4. Facebook and Meta

You can connect a Facebook Page so you can publish posts to it from the Service. Connecting is always your choice, and you approve it on Facebook’s own screen.

What we ask Facebook for. The permissions to see the list of Pages you manage (pages_show_list), to read the Page details Facebook requires alongside publishing (pages_read_engagement), and to publish posts to a Page (pages_manage_posts).

What we receive and keep. Your Facebook user ID; for each Page you choose to connect, its ID, name and category; and the access token Facebook gives us for that Page. We also keep a record of the posts you publish through the Service: the text, which Page it went to, when, and whether Facebook accepted it.

What we do with it. We use it only to show you the Pages you can pick from, and to publish the posts you write and submit. We do not read your personal profile, your friends or your messages, we never post anything you did not write and submit yourself, and we do not use Facebook data for advertising or sell it.

How it is protected. Page access tokens are stored encrypted, are used only by our servers to talk to Facebook, and are never sent to your browser.

Your control. You can disconnect a Page at any time from the Social page in your account: that deletes the stored token. You can also remove the app from Facebook under Settings, then Business Integrations. How to have everything deleted is in Deleting your data.

Facebook is run by Meta Platforms, which has its own privacy policy for what it does with your data. We follow Meta’s Platform Terms for the data we receive from it.

5. AI features

Some features, such as generating or editing a page, writing résumé or presentation text, or looking up a word, use an AI service provider. When you use one, the text and settings you submit for that request are sent to the provider so it can produce the result. We do not send your account details with it. Please do not put anything into those features that you would not want processed this way.

6. Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed to run the Service:

  • Service providers that host the Service, store files, and deliver email for us, acting on our instructions.
  • Google, if you sign in with Google, and for website analytics.
  • Our AI provider, for the AI features above.
  • Meta, if you connect a Facebook Page, as described above.
  • The public, for anything you publish: profile pages, sites, store and news pages and shared links are visible to anyone with the address.
  • Authorities or others, when the law requires it or to protect the rights, safety or property of people or the Service.

7. Cookies and browser storage

When you sign in, your browser keeps a sign-in token in its local storage so you stay signed in, and it remembers settings such as light or dark mode. Google Analytics on this website may set cookies to tell visits apart. You can clear local storage and cookies, or block them, in your browser; if you block the sign-in token, you will be signed out.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your account and what you made for as long as your account exists. When you delete something in the Service it is removed from it. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations. We may keep information longer where the law requires it.

9. Deleting your data

You can delete most of what you made yourself, inside the Service: pages, sites, résumés, notes, files, products and so on. To have your whole account and everything linked to it deleted, contact us from the email address on your account and ask. We will confirm it is you, then delete the account and its data promptly, and in any case within 30 days.

Facebook data. To remove the data we hold from Facebook:

  • Open Social in your account and choose Disconnect next to the Page. This deletes the Page’s stored token and connection straight away.
  • Remove the app on Facebook: Settings & privacy, then Settings, then Business Integrations, find Mero Page and choose Remove. This also stops Facebook sharing data with us.
  • To also delete the record of posts you published through the Service, or if you cannot sign in, contact us and say it is a Facebook data deletion request. Posts already published on Facebook stay on Facebook until you delete them there.

10. Security

The Service is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only in scrambled form, and tokens for connected accounts are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep it to yourself; tell us if you think your account has been misused.

11. Your choices and rights

You can see and change your account details and what you made in the Service. You can also ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, using the contact form. Depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights over your personal information, and we will respect them.

12. Children

The Service is not meant for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has given us theirs, tell us and we will delete it.

13. Where it is handled

We are based in Nepal. The providers we use may handle information in other countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live.

14. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change matters to how we use your information, we will make it visible in the Service or tell you by email.

15. Contact

Questions, requests or complaints about your privacy: use the contact form. We read every message and reply by email.

Also read our Terms of Service.
